There are party boats (open load) and 6 packs. If you want the entire boat to yourselves you will have to pay for the full boat. If you are coming up now then choose anyone since the bite is hot. If you want Moss then try the Kahuna. They will put you on the fish.

For a 6-pack up to six people I would try Khanh his company name is North Cal Sport Fishing: 510-552-2250. He fishes almost every day and is very reliable, especially for Salmon and Halibut.

Contact Cabo Jon. He's a member here and his boat is super fishy. We fished Sunday and we slaughtered them.

I've been fishing with Khahn all week and he has been on the fish everyday this week. He has a great network of people that let him know where the fish are if they move. He will put you on the fish give him a call.

I fished with Chris's Fishing out of Monterey Bay, last Thursday and Friday. I got limits, but most guys didn't catch fish. Use 12lb flouro and catch fish. slow drop at 1 foot per second to just below where the fish are metered and slow retrieve 2-3 feet at a time. The rest of the guys are fishing 20lb and sticking their rods in the holders and sitting there. Chris's Fishing website is www.chrissfishing.com $80/person.

Thanks for the good words guys but I am done with my charters for the Monterey bay for the year unless it is the place to be for tuna later in the season. I am booking for Eureka and I may be able to do a couple more days around July 10th in bodega when I am there for some other days. I would recommend Cabo Jon 530-417-1939 with Carey On Sportfishing or Captain Tom 408 348-4866 with Fish on sportfishing. Khanh is also a good choice.

Thanks for the shout out Marc. We had another great week with daily boat limits. Sure wish you were still down here in the bay, as the more of a network the better we all do. Home now for Easter with the kids. Back at it on Wed. 2 weeks of the kids out of school is tough. Hope the comm season works out as well as charter has so far. I will be calling to try and squeak in Pac butt or two before the off shore season. Was a pleasure to share the pond with you. Lots of shakers this week. You didn't miss a whole lot. KIT brotha.

The fish are in Cabo Jons backyard. He is on fire rgiht now. I went with him couple weeks ago becasue I did not want to go solo in my boat. There was no time to enjoy the moring all I did was bring fish in or set a line. My buddies in their boat were still looking for the first fish when we were having breakfast. Right not Cabo Jon gets my vote. Plus I have been fishng Monterey for 45 years now and he showed me a few tircks that were new to me.
