Two speed or single?
single on the bay......
I'm looking for a single speed. I'll consider a 2 speed if resonably priced
I ask this because Accurate has little to no ability to provide support for reels in that generation.
Lots of parts floating around at independent dealers
I just had all of mine serviced by Accurate no problems. The only thing that has ever been replaced is a bearing. Not sure what parts would break or need replacing
The only part I know of that could be an issue on the much earlier versions would be the spool covers. They were changed to acetal and they don't fit in the same side plate.
This would only be an issue if the clicker became separated from the cover on the clicker side spool cover.
Just had all my reels serviced and I have serial numbers down to 230.
And my original 270 single speed is still my favorite reel of all.
Really? You my friend have no idea about Accurate customer service they take care of their customers and reels!!!!
NoLDR over and out
Well, that must mean that Ben Secrest also has no idea as he was the person that told me this when I asked him face to face at the Longfin. Thanks for the info.
Perhaps you should ask the company instead of a third party? Either way I'm sure Accurate will take care of any reel regardless of how old JMO.
Take a moment and Google "Ben Secrest Accurate". Or YouTube. Or search this exact topic on these forums.
I have a 270 - $$255
