Google Whopper Stopper Rod. Short and made to haul big fish. I check them out every time I go to Hawaii. Well made rods.

Reels- I’d keep a jigmaster handy with and extra spool. Those reels are made to be abused and keep working and spool changes don’t take tools. I’d also have a penn 113 type reel as a primary.

Did a launch and photo shoot with Lia today on the 21' Rowboat...that's the name. For Snapchat which I'm thankfully not familiar with. Just mind blowing she's going to row across the Pacific on that boat.
