Took another look out front this morning with Chris Oakes. Started at the 150 but there wasn't much signal so we looked around. Found lots of red crab and marked yellows in several areas but they weren't biting. Finally found some birds that were acting right and they lead us to a foamer of big yellows. Chris and I doubled up on our first casts. Got both fish and then went bass fishing. PV was slow. Called it a day at 10 am

Thanks guys! It's remarkable just how many fish there are on the horseshoe right now. Pretty wild to chase bird schools of big yellows within sight of the harbor on a weekend and to have the entire area all to ourselves...

Both fish bit on the surface. We had heavy jigs tied on but burned them on the surface for bites.

Corey we didn't have a scale on the boat, but they were very thick fish. When we cleaned them Id say that Chris's fish probably had three pounds of big sardines in its stomach and throat. Hungry hippos...
