Steve and I fished my sled today. We covered 40 miles for 40 bass. Even though there was a small craft advisory, the inshore waters were Chamber of Commerce. Fish a SCA at your peril!
Anyways, we only had like 6 fish by 11:00. A couple places saved the day. We found a line of unremarkable stones that aligned with the goofy drift (south to north) and put a quick 15 calicos on the clicker.
We were on the trailer around 3. I had two swimbaits get their tails cleanly bit off. Slimers?
Clown heads, on either tubes or swimbaits, got bit way better that candy red ones.
Water temp was 64 degrees and the drift was towards shore.
The MFD screenshots were of fish that were not interested in our offerings. Frustrating.
