launched form south shores around 6:30 or so.
Hit nachos and he had Candy!
Grab some candy and ran to the shoe.
Dropped on some structure and worked a few drifts for some billshit sand dabs.
Worked a few areas for the same results and then decided to run to Izors.
About mid way, ran across a lot of bait in the water. Threw squid, squid strips, flatfalls and surface iron for jack shit.
There was a beeeze at Izors that was making it hard to get down with a 3/4 ounce wieght.
But we were able to scratch out some sandies and a nice goat.
One of the sandies was a damn log! I didn’t measure it but it had to be a good solid 20 inches, easily.
Made some more drifts there them jammed to the muscle farm for nothing.
    WEATHER;
The wind picked up a little in the afternoon but nothing to write home to Ma about. Still did 20 heading north back to the ramp.
    Water temp was 64-65
    Bait- Live squid
    Swell- flat.... extremely flat
Fishing was slow but better then sitting on the couch.
    Sorry no pics.
    Hope this helps.

When they're not biting live squid... They're not biting at all.

    Thanks for the report.

We had one on us for a while too. I put 1 ounce slider to get down fast enough. He kept grabbing my squid with the 1/2 ounce

I contemplated shooting up there and fishing rocky point with the squid but expected a parking lot there.
How was the boat traffic there?

That Redondo bone bite is a hoot. We’ve been going up weekly. Heading out tomorrow.

We had tuna clear water around the MPA last time. That was weird.
