Launched at Davies at 9:00. Picked up a half scoop of sardines from Nachos. We motored straight out and anchored over structure in 80’. Chunked some Sardines and set up a nice chum line. The Calicos followed the chum to the surface and it was wide open on the flyline until the wind came up at 2:00.

    All released.

Good fishing! My wife and I did the same thing on the 4th while anchored at 80 feet however we just used plastic. Over 50 bass but mostly sandies.

You gotta be over some kelp. We only caught one or two stray SandBass.

The coverup facemask, Buff gloves, Buff sleves are because I am a Metastatic Melanoma Cancer Survivor. I get burned quickly. Doesn't take much.

It appears that you don't have to do such things.

Didn't want to bring this up Mr. Catalina. You fish more than most on weekdays and appear to be about 35 yrs old, nice boat, married, beautiful wife and a kid on the way.

Way past my bad choices to change now, but what's the story? Tell me what I did wrong.

Yes. We are blessed. We remind each other every time out. Being on the water is my Church.
