    The daily catch limit has also been raised from, "7 lobster in your possession" to "7 lobster per hour." You can purchase a "time-stamp" machine from the DFG, place the stamp to run parallel along the carapace, and mark your lobster. If the stamp fits, then it meets the size limit and you're good-to-go.

    I caught a couple of these this weekend, they were delicious!!!!! Careful of the small ones because you may get lead poisoning.

    I just called Big 5 and they said that not only will they carry the machines, they can adjust the settings so that it prints even smaller

    Yes, it is mandatory post lobster reports. Also, it is mandatory to take a photo of yourself holding a lobster and insert into the report. Proof that you caught a lobster.

    Too bad the season is canceled.

    Yes please post pics of the giant 2.75" lobsters you catch better yet if it was on the tip of your spear....that would be a BAD ASS pic. "Cheese" and post name and location.

    Yes, no season this year, it's common knowledge that Lobster season's are Closed permanently during El Nino yrs. and we just started a really good El Nino with all the local Pelegic species being caught in our backyard!

    Knowledge is not so common apparently???? DFG and their website are even clueless....someone better call them and let them know!!!!:finger:
