Bring her - she can't assist you in the capture of bugs though. I will be bringing my non-fishing wife this season.

From what I've heard, as long as she doesn't participate in fishing in any way, basically just an observer, you can bring her.

Try explaining that one..get the lic and card. You can buy a day lic if need be and lobster card is cheap.

And...If she goes without a license and lobster card, you are sure to catch more than your limit ;):D

when in doubt get the lic.
i believe it is $750 for no lic. and $250 for no card.

its your word against theirs and the judge most likely will side with them. spend the $75 IMO

It shouldn't be that much if he buys her a card and a one day license

    Post 17 here: http://www.bdoutdoors.com/forums/threads/crawl-prediction.604744/#post-3932539

CDFG says no, you don't need a license and card for non-participating passengers.
My son was down from college for the opener and wifey wanted to take him and his girlfriend out - got him a 1-day license and card ($25) and he and I baited and pulled hoops. The girls relaxed and watched the fun - no license or cards. 7 lobsters per license.

I just bought a full license and card for wife ($61) for when it's just the two of us as she'll help with pulling, measuring, etc. and we get 7 each limit then.

The license is good 'till Jan 1 but the lobster card is good 'till the end of the season - April 30 next year.

I'm not sure why we got so much FUD on this - the other thread was full of it.
