Made a quick stop at the rocks today. No one was home. Heading south for a couple more days. Independence now has starlink for all the passengers. It’s a game changer. You can now call anyone or stream movies and music just like being on land. Try to keep everyone updated. Weather is nice and a great group of anglers waiting to pull on some wahoo and tuna. Stay tuned for updated reports.

    I wonder if there will be a surcharge in our ticket price to offset the cost for Earthlink on the boats? . Earth link is not cheap.

    Our charter master Bubba with a nice spread of giveaways. Lots of big winners of UC rods and several reels to some lucky winners. Everyone got a huge package of prizes from Bubba. Thanks to a great charter master

    It will be interesting to see if you lose coverage when you get too far offshore. Starlink has been pretty quiet about many details and one theory is that the satellites just bounce their customers' traffic to one of the many big ground stations that are wired to the internet.

    Excel has some internet connection for passengers.
    Not sure who the provider is.

    Friends were on a 12 day cow trip that left after thanksgiving and they were sending photos and updates during their trip.

    The RP has been very active updating their Facebook page with lots of photos.

    One of the anglers on the trip has been in touch, if only to acknowledge a comment.
