Squidco was almost able to get a 300yd spool of 40lb J braid on mine last year (about 280ish yds). When I bought it on sale at another shop they only managed 190yds of 40lb, but the line was loose and tended to dig into itselt (why I had Squidco redo it).

If you are worried about line capacity go with Pro Spec or MaxQuatro its stupid how much line you can fit with that stuff

If it’s rated for 300yds of 30# it’ll take 300 yds of 50# Maxcuatro. I have a 300 yd spool that I’ll be putting on my SXJ.
