Me and two of my buddy's Angel (piece of ship) and Larry (draginum) had the pleasure of fishing aboard the awesome "PESCADORE" with captain Jack and his friend Mark. Left the dock at 8pm Friday out of mission bay. First stop, point Loma for some lively dean's! Headed south till gray light and trolled for a bit till capt. Finds our first drift salad. After tossing a few dean's into the salad, it was an all you can eat salad bar for the next hour. We exhausted our shoulders and forearms for limits of yellows within an hour, had to leave them chewing as we headed further south in search of our main course (Dorado). Stoped at several more salty drift lettuce for more Yellows but had to pass them up. After a long beautiful day enjoying the company over a few beers and an awesome boat. We start making our way back to the barn and we come up on what appeared to be another drift salad but this one was made of spinach as it contained a strong and determined Dorado that refused to be caught but with a little skill and team effort Larry managed to land it. Here are some pics of our awesome trip. Thank you guys and especially Captain Jack for having us, much respects to you and your boat!
