Offshore Limits 8/9

Took SecondChance, my Brother in Law and my buddy Walter out to a slaughter fest Sat. Morning. Fished from 13/25- 11/22 amungst acres of breaking albies. I saw Albacore jump 7ft in the air! Unreal! they were so aggresive and my crew was very happy. I got a chance to fish light line on this trip- 12pd is fun stuff! Finally got limits by 10:30ish and headed back home. Had to make a stop by the Waatoosee for beer for the trip home- Thanks Frankie!!!! Final count 20 albies and we left them boiling- how crappy is that- we left them boiling to make our way back 88nm to the point. Long run but awesome as usual

Nice job!
I like switching to light gear or flyfishing after you get a couple under the belt.
In case you're interested....the 12 lb test record for CA YT's is 43 lbs and a few oz. Some guy named Arbuckel.
There are some gaps in the line test record ranges, that make an IGFA record eminently doable though.
The one that got me was 2 lb test....a 15 pounder.
