Hi guys. Another quick report. Fished the liberty today with 17 people on the boat.
Every day is different when it comes
    To offshore fishing.
The day before they didn’t have a report.
    Today was very different.
We got into the zone and started seeing tons of life. Came up on a foamer and got bit on the popper but didn’t stick.
    Bummer
Saw puddlers and breezers that didn’t react to the chum, until around noon, we had them boiling around the boat for 3 hours.
I went 2 for 5. I pulled a hook due to a bent one. Also got picked a couple of times.
The fish I did land came on a sardine flylined and and Mack flylined bait.
First fish was on 30lb and took me around 45 minutes. 65lb Bluefin Tuna. After that fish I got bit again with a 2/0 j hook and a huge Mack. After 1 hour of fighting I finally landed it. 94 pound bluefin tuna.
    Super stoked.
I would fish nothing but 40-60 for these fish. Ghey are mean and will take your lunch.

Also bring a popper. I hooked one on it and came unbuttoned.
2/0 hooks and 30-60 pound line got bit. Try to have a two speed.
A lot of people lost fish due to tackle and knots
    Cheers go get em!

Nice report! Spot on with hooks and line recommendation.

I had similar success a couple weeks ago and the counts were nothing few days prior. You just never know. I actually went thinking they were due to bite. We were only a few shy of limits for 18 on the NLA that day.

I kicked myself for not bringing my popper rig though.

    Congrats Bro!
    Was that a day trip?!
