The 400 I toss at larger model fish has 50# max4. I fish it at 18# of drag which is plenty for the rod it is mounted on.

I got 350 of 50lb prospec on mine.

The spool looks to have 100 yds left. Max4 is about 30% thinner so 50# should equal 35#. Spool holds 200 yds of 80#.

Thanks for the heads up...IMA spool it onto a bastard reel and then onto the Lexa.

There was a weave defect. Dealer said it happens from time to time, but is not common.

I got about 270 yards of 50lb spider wire blue camo on mine. Diameter is labeled same as pro spec. Reel has been pretty good to me and got my PB yellow at 37lbs.

Just put 320 yards of Max #50 on my 400 TW.
