    yeah i feel that way about yellowtail off the kayak, then go back to bouncing for halibut.

    Nice work. Its a fun catch in the surf for sure. Haters gonna hate, some people are great armchair anglers. Some people like to get out and DO WORK.
    When using perch do you slab them out?

    Smaller perch you can fish whole. Chunking them up works great too.

    As to the judgemental comment; it's these type posts that are ruining this forum. Kindly keep your comments on a LEGAL catch to your self. I believe PETA has a web site for that mindset.

    leps are yummy,all sharks are from what i have caught and ate , bleed it out n clean it right away your good to go. great catch.

    They were hitting on the larger perch. We had some small ones, but they never got bit. I just ran a knife down the bottom and let their guts hang out and made a few slices down the sides of the perch. The bigger and bloodyer the better the bite.
