Water 58-59F pretty much until a few miles from the island. Lots of boats but not too bad at Empire. Not much going on. Fish moved on? NS reported a few. Good water quality and 61F. Current was there but not impressive. Little rain here and there. Got away from the crowd and had some boils here and there. Few berries but small. Lots of quality marks but no action. Headed to Avalon to a few spots with good marks but more no action.

Soaked two 30# fly-line dines and constant iron throwing Tady 4/0, 45 and 9 in mint/white, bird shit/green and scrambled.

Came back in to the 150. Water green and 58F. Found all the small-medium reds and starries I wanted. Total lake out there all day until 4pm and possibly later, but I headed in.

There was a moderate uphill current so things could change in a few days. Hard chloro/temp line 15 miles or so south of the 150. If things go in our direction, there should be a some good changes soon.

Agreed. Empire area was dead all day. All the sporties skunked our. I don’t believe the ns report as I was there all day.

Searched high and low for the jello but no luck.

We were there too today from 7-12pm and scratched on the Yellowtail. It didn't look like anyone was having too much success.
