LB wall - harbor, swarming Bat Rays 7/25

    Fishing was slower than it has been the past few weeks.

    Outside the wall, the water has cooled off and was about 61 deg and green.

    Overcast and little wind. Not marking many fish. Managed a few small calico/sandies.

    Moved inside the harbor around 10am - slack high tide.
    Tried for butts, but got nothing except 4 or 5 hookups with big bat rays (on fresh dead squid).

    Only got one to the boat, where he broke off (not that I would have kept it anyway). Fun to pull on though!

    Going North to fish this weekend --- FAR north, in British Columbia.
    I hope to catch some salmon and 'real' butts there!
