Killer bro. Nothing like a great day on the water at Cat - beautiful conditions, weather, and family - top it off with a ghost, EPIC.

    Congrats.

Really, I can't believe you would take the most precious thing in the world to you out on the water without a life jacket.

That chair is a great solution to a rocky ride with a little one on board, by the way what a cutie........sure wish they had those when my boys were babies, sure beats the wife .

Nice WSB, by the way.......your can't beat that!

Really dude?..........there is a lot better way of addressing your concerns with out.... well being a dick head. I checked out this type of sling/swing after reading this post and it a appears that most float........go figure! You would of loved my parents 50 years ago let let me ride my 59' Triumph Cub motorcycle with only Sears and Roebuck hiking boots and a pair of Levis (well not Levis, mom wouldn't pop for those) and a pair of leather gardening gloves. But I hope you feel better letting someone else think they are a piece of shit. I for one applaud that she is out in air and away from a T.V./computer/advertising..........go mom and dad........your on the right track!

I knew this would garner some backlash. I wasn't trying to be a dickhead although it appears that I was coming off as one. I too know all about how things used to be, i'm almost 60 for Christ's sake! Just saying i wouldn't even consider letting my grandkids on the dock, never mind the boat without their PFD on. Better safe than sorry. I too think it's great the little ones out on the water. did the same with mine, only they had on PFD's.
    Thanks

Appreciate the concern. She has a life jacket. We have all the latest survival gear and one heck of a life raft. Trust me when I tell you that she is very, very safe with her parents on the water. Your grand kids are at much greater risk every time they get into a car.

This was once penned by an internet friend:

When I go out on my boat
I pray to God that it will float

and keep me safe from the cold dark ocean
with its constant waves and endless motion

For all the time I've spent at sea
she's become a friend to me

she provides my food and recreation
she enhances my weekends and my vacation

But she can turn and do you under
with crashing waves that sound like thunder

So when I go out on the sea
I keep my life vest close to me

I'm getting married and hopefully having children next year, and I pray to God I'm able to not only catch fish like you but bring my family along as well!
I love all your reports and that's so awesome that you can enjoy it with your beautiful family.

Thanks for the nice report Jonathan. I just looked up the Searock chairs. It has a rod holder to use it as a fighting chair.

    Awesome.
