IMG_7929.PNG Sorry about the late report. Headed out of Dana Point to take the kids fishing around 5:30 on Saturday morning, We got some bait and let the kids have fun making macs outside then headed to 267. Saw lots of life and birds diving everywhere. Trolled around the area until 9:45 with no luck. These kids wanted to fish so we headed a few miles south and in. Ended up about 10 miles off shore. Stopped on a really small paddy around 10:30 and threw a colt sniper. As soon as it hit the water, bait was jumping everwhere. We set one kid up with a sardine that was thrown 10 feet from the boat. It took off away and was swimming deep. 30 seconds later the kid was yelling that he had a bite. He couldn't hang on too the rod so we told him to rail fish it. After I adjusted the drag, it started ripping lone off like crazy. Now we think we have a good size yellow but the next thing you know, the Marlin that he hook was jumping out of the water! Did 5 full jumps before it broke off.
On the next cast with a sardine, the other kid was getting nibbles right at the paddy. Boom!!! He is now hooked up with his bait runner on a nice Dorado thats also jumping. But we got this one to the boat. Bite slowed down but Dorado were swimming everywhere. Go get em.
