image.jpeg Took advantage of the weather window. Picked up 10lb of fresh dead at the Asian stores and we were off to our usual spots at the island. They were chewing the everything that fell on them. Flat falls were doing as much damages as the squid. Manage to get limit for 3 and 3 yellows, and a big goat.

Wow great intel!!! The one to the right. Well might give a clue if you said where you launched from?? I mean I know being local from HB that THE Island is Catalina! But some especially our BD Bro s from the south have THE island being Coronado! Just don't get why so secretive?? Tons of spots on here and charts n fish dope to go get taco meat ?? I guess this is why a guy on this site for 11 plus years 1,195 posts you have less than 10% likes at 123. I don't see any additional from this post???? Here's a New Years Resolution!? Stop being a Dick!!!

Seriously. The place is like fight club. You don't talk about it.

He's not being rude he's protecting a good thing from the Internet.

Are lobster hoopers dicks because they don't share the intel?

Nice. We were gonna go to the slightly larger and further out island than the small island.

Swell was not in our favor so we aborted just past catalina. Stayed at cat, made squid last night and caught yellow tail on the backside. Live squid was the ticket.

Not just pix and brag. Use Instagram then!! And seriously. It's rockfish?? They are anyplace!!!i know places much closer than cat to get it done. And big models.

First I never said I launched the boat, second I did tell you where we went, all you have to do is look at a map. If I was a dick I would tell you that the taco meat were at double oil rigs at 230ft. these days you want good taco meat you gotta be willing to run far instead of staying local and throw back a couple of dozen small rockfish that end up being pelican food.

And since you seem to be the only one who still doesn't have a clue as to where this small island to the right of Catalina is? I will give you the name: SBI. Find the rocks and you will find the fish, stay away from restricted area. So do your research and go get some taco meat.

    I hope I get a like, LOL.

Of course they move!!! That's why especially if small I have marked with Mylar balloon s and stick and flag. Then if you figure for current and the # s from the previous day. you find them.

Good for you Jeff. This holiday season has left me grumpy. I am spending many moments rethinking things before I state them. You are much better than I in reassessing personal actions and taking positive steps.
