Well done Dave! I nominate you for the First Annual BD Lifesaving Award! (can we get some swag to this guy?).

Even if the douche didn't want saving, I'm sure when he comes down off the meth or bath salts or both, he'll be mighty thankful.

Contact the Chelan Co. S/O and ask their procedure for submitting a claim for damages. Unless I miss my guess, they will pay you for the damage done. Have patience though, as the wheels of government turn ever so slowly.

Is there a limit on those? I agree a better bait to get them to come to the boat would have been beer. You need to match the hatch.

With chelan being so deep my guess is someone reeled him up to fast and he bloated up, couldnt get back down..Did you not have a descending device on board. Now its going to be required on Lakes to...

    All kidding aside...good job.

That is great. What a story and great pics. I didn't know if it was a joke or true until I scrolled down to the pics. Nice job for not leaving him out there.

Ahh Lake Chelan in the summer. Brings back memories from a college trip back in the mid 1980's:

The people in town were so tired of tourists and the shit they try and pull they were just waiting to pounce on any transgression, A completely sober buddy of mine was arrested for shoplifting, then resisting arrest when they tried to put him in handcuffs after he ate a grape, yes one grape, at the supermarket.....
