Anyone have recommendations on who to take a one day charter with out of La Paz? It is just two of us, so looking for a small sportfisher or a nice panga. Tried contacting the people at La Paz Sportfishing but the email link isn't working and they never answer phone or return calls. Thanks in advance!

Much cheaper if you deal directly with Panga captain. Drive over to Muertos (now they call it Bahia de los Suenos) and talk to captains when they come in, about an hour drive. Usually the guy with the most fish will have similar results the next day. Used to be around $150 - 200 a day. If you go through the middlemen in La Paz figure on another $50 to 100. When you get back in Muertos go to the big Palapa on the north side of bay for some good food and drinks....awesome view! Here is a good weekely fish report, also has historical data for the last few years, so you can get an idea what it will be like when you are planning on being down there. https://fishreport.jonathanroldan.com/
Good luck

leaving from Meurtos is much closer to fishing grounds (normally) they do leave out of la paz and a lot of the time they drive all the way around to near Muertos. Also when the wind blows in the afternoon it is a much rougher ride to La Paz then Muertos. Have fun...Not all the good Pangas are with Tailhunter and some of the guys who work for the Middlemen are not booked on a lot of days and will take you out for cash....Save Cash go direct if you have the time.

A good plan would be to head over to Muertos in the early afternoon and have lunch at the Big Palapa on the beach (was owned by Giggling Marlin not sure the name of the place....can't miss it). Wait for Pangas to come in and talk to Captains. Book a trip for the next day or two. I have done it many times. With good success. Good Luck.....More fish, less money!

Well Tailhunters and La Paz Sportfishing are sure hard to get in touch with, I have emailed and called both multiple times with no results. Anyone have better contact info for either of these, I have been using what is on their websites.
