For all you back country bow hunters, do you prefer Sitka gear or Kryptek gear? Lately I've been leaning towards Sitka but want to try some of what Kryptek is offering.

Sitka is great, but if you check out Camofire.com website, they sell a brand called core4element that is basically the same product at half the price. It's a daily sale deal, so you have to watch it, but I've augmented my Sitka gear with core4 stuff and actually find myself using the core4 more.

I also use the core4element but only because I like the mountain mimicry pattern and sitka discontinued it but the quality doesnt even compare to sitka

That pattern used by core4 looks like Krypteks current pattern....

Check out the Kuiu gear. Jason Harriston, the founder, also founded Sitka. After selling Sitka to Gore (as in Gore-tex), he took what he learned and improved on it.

After looking at the kuiu and kryptek sites I'd still stick with Sitka--more choices. Also very durable in my exp.

I was on the wait list for gear for over 4 months and just recently opted to go for more Sitka gear. Pretty frustrating when you can't even buy the gear....and they have no clue when it is going to be in. I have no doubt that Kuiu is quality gear, and will most likely get some in the future, but when I intend to buy gear I like to see it inside of 6 months.
