Hi All,

I typically use the 38” AMTAK blanks for my kite rod builds but they have been out of stock for a while. Anyone have any suggestions for replacements? I’m considering buying Rainshadow solid glass blanks and chopping those down, but figured I’d ask before I made a mess for no reason.

Did you look at this Ande rod? It's less expensive than the components.

I have considered doing that and over wrapping in the colors my buddy wants. Honestly I’m pretty sure that rod is kitted with the same kit I’m looking for. The solid blank makes the rod weigh a ton which is good because you don’t want your kite taking the rod for a ride on a windy day.
