You can take a kid fishin' or you can go fishin' but you can't do both...These two Dad's sacrificed an afternoon of NFL playoffs to get their boys on their first saltwater fish...Bonito...what a great fish to learn on!

It was a blast catching some Bones but listening to the kids hoot and holler was even more fun!

Thanks Saba for taking those shots. This was truly a "spot weld" day for two fathers and their sons, and one that none of us will forget. I'll let the pictures do the talking... I am sure there are many Dads on here that can relate.

That' so awesome! We took our boys out whale watching for the first time this weekend they are 23 months old and man you couldn't wipe the grin off their faces. Two hours of just staring at the water. I cannot wait to be able to get them out to do something like you posted! How old are your boys???

    THANKS FOR SHARING!

Trying hard not to reply on anything, but I just can't pass this one up!

Smoking job by the dads! Can't hardly think of a better fish for two young boys (or any kid for that matter) to call their first Saltwater fish...... and just the perfect size and gear too!!

    Congrats.... that's too cool!!

Precious! Priceless! Hell, a day on the water with the kids beats 50 yard line seats at the Super Bowl.
