Anyone hunt Kesterson or the Gustine area recently? I’ve never been to Kesterson but have a #7 this weekend, any info appreciated. Sounds like there’s been a good number of GWT in the area.

Good draw for the grasslands. First of all I have not been there this year but look at the 3 man blinds out of lot P5 or if you dont mind a long walk look at the 17 blinds. Going to be a wet one this weekend. Good luck.

Ended up third in blind selection. 30 and 8 were taken and based on recent counts we were choosing between 29 and 17A. Went with 29 since the walk was much shorter. It was difficult to find the blind in the dark, we set up in the tules but found our standup blind at shooting light and moved our modest spread over. Hunted until 930 and ended up with 6 GWT and a spoony. Didn’t shoot anything for the last hour. There were still birds around and they were struggling in the wind but not wanting to land. Lots of teal and specks out there. Rain picked up as we were driving out.
