This was a good bit long day

Marlin mike and I rolled out at 5 am to meet the catapillar tech in hoqiam for the final install. we drove over to Westport to pick up Kevin lanier for added support. back to the ship yard with diesel to prime the racor filters (mechanic forgot) also picked up grade 8 fasteners for the turbo (mechanic Forgot) batteries still being charged up (shipyard forgot)called the bridge to schedule opening. cancelled opening not ready, started engine fired right up sounded good, water temp never came up. Mechanic checked into it and realized he forgot to install temp sensor. We tried to locate one, no luck. mechanic had temp gun so we ran that. rescheduled, cancelled rescheduled finally
seat trial was great except one situation the turbo popped a hose off that needed to be tightened down. got her back into her slip just before sundown and all tied up.

I love the sound/smell of diesel in the morning. Grats Vance.

What better way to break in that bad boy than heading 70 miles west with a shit load of bait and ice?

    Fixed it!

Seriously though, congrats Vance. We've all been watching this and hoping for the best. Hopefully the insurance covered most (hell, all!) of the costs. You really need to get that thing bloody, ohh, and post pics!
