Does anyone have a good method for keeping sand crabs alive?

I am looking to keep them alive for just the day and take up little space.

Thanks in advance!

Get a small container, wet newspaper, put it on the bottom, then put wet kelp, then the crabs , then more wet kelp, then wet newspaper--- like a sandwitch
They will live for a week in a cool place like that

X 2 on the moist kelp. Mine are in an open air tupperware container with drainage holes and a piece of seaweed over the top. You need the drainage because they do not do well in water.
