Headed out at around 6:00am on the way picked up a 13lb mahi under one Iwa there was a second one but she never like bite. Kept going till around 19 miles i was finding some small rubbish here n there, no fish. Followed it up the way a little before LL made a pass on a ball of rope got a double snake sized onos close to 10lbs ea went back around had 4 decent sized girls following only was able to pick off 2 of em :shake: they never seemed too hungry & agressive as they should be.

Decided to cut my losses & head out a little farther so at around 23 miles had a pretty big pile shibis biting like wild i could've probrobly banged um w/stick if had sprayers, sadly they were barely 2lbs give or take a few ounces. If they were 4-5lbs i would've worked um but whatever thats how it goes so i move on back towards kaneohe & find a pretty big net.....coming up on it the back of the boat turned blue had about 250 pieces.....................of HUMU :ashamed: no mahi to be found but ended up with a double 15lb bigeye after a few passes. Nothing much going on heading in so made it an early day.

Kinda shitty day but i guess better than whitewash :shithappens:

Nevah like drop down da iron below that net? Not questioning your tactics by any means, but I bet there was some more of those daruma waiting in the depths.

Yep might've been the net that was attatched cause it was the same color...but the raft wasn't on um. Ah not a Good day but anything to help ease the gas bill ah.

I would've but only had one small bird above the rubbish & nothing was coming up on the recorder. Not much signs so was thinking they were stray.

Pardon the ignorance, but what's a daruma? The only thing I could find on "daruma" is "a Japanese doll patterned after a Buddhist monk." ;)
