We fished La Jolla Wednesday morning for not much. 3 small rockfish and a giant lizardfish, 18" . Water color brownish red in spots to sorta clear green in others . Had this little guy swim around the boat for a while. Just under 6 ft and pretty curious, tossed some sardines which he ignored but did eat some of the dead squid I threw over. First Great White for me. Lots of small sealion pups around for tucker. shark.jpg

That's really two nice shots; I hear today you can make easy blow ups--can't remember where I just read about it. But adding just a little contrast and that could be a great stand alone print for your office, den, whatever.

Was the water that blue? I fished PLWed. and there was a nasty red tide blowing up, made for mud like water! Great shots!

Overall the water was terrible from Mission Bay up to La Jolla. Definitely red tide looking stuff, brownish/green. Cleared a bit farther north, but the water looks cleaner in the pics than it did to my eyes that day.

Hopefully that little GWS will grow-up quickly and start dining on some of the excess Seals and Sea Lions along our CA-coast.

It's carrying a tag of some sort in the dorsal fin.

I don't think its a tag unless it was a rookie with an AR-15Tag stick as there are several others on the trailing side of the Dorsal
