Finally at a point on my whaler build I can actually go fish. So decided to go looking on Saturday. Had plans to go take a look at the 14 since there was rumblings from the day before that there were fish. Headed out around 7 and the radio was already full of "nothing but whales and a couple birds". With the water being a washing machine we changed plans and just went to go look for some new rocks in 400-500 feet of water. Found a couple new ones and did some bottom fishing. Saw a quick foam spot about 6 miles out of Newport, tried to get on them but they sunk out quick, looked like small football fish and not many of them. All in all fun day on the water
