    just picked up a deckhand style seeker black max graphite 20-30lb was wondering if this wood be a good jig stick and if what irons and reel should i get for it?

    16,20 size reel or 25n size reel. Trow Tady 45's, caivos, Tady C's and similar jigs

    What you have is a good #25 stick for fishing live sardines. Use it accordingly. A small reel filled with #40 spectra and a short flouro leader and you are good to go.
