So I have a few jig sticks and I love fishing with them but for the life of me I can’t find a rod holder that they can fit in so they always get tossed in the corner or thrown in the cabin anyone have any suggestions on some rod holders that they would fit in

    Thanks,
    Mark

I have run into this problem before and wound up taking out the insert of the rod holder and it just barely fit.

One thing I have seen some guys do is buy one of those rubber rod holders found on sport boats. They are made by Leadmasters and I think Turners carries them, then zip tie them onto like a Bimini top or the side of the radar arch. Back in the day some tackle shops would actually carry like a velcro strap one for the guys on the on the sport boats so they could leave their rods at the rail. I haven't seen them in a while though... The struggle is real.

It’s always a problem, especially with my older rods. Now that I build my own I build them so that the butt cap isn’t bigger than the grip width if I can help it. If your rods are older factory rods you might be able to adjust it a little bit. My UC jig sticks fit great.

You can use those little metal bendy cords I forget what they are called but I see them all over the place
