A got a few of these unique Wahoo bombs from Fishybuzz and DH515.

Used haywire twists on 174# wire to a swivel.

The hooks are Gamakatsu 7/0 siwash hooks heat shrink-ed together. Also made one up using the Mustad 7982 double hook.

Thanks guys!! Appreciate it.

We are testing these on the Intrepid 15 day leaving on 1/12. If they work well, I might have a few for sale at the end of the month. Chrome plated brass jet head a little over an inch in diameter, 2.75" long, 6.75 ounces. The jets leave a pretty cool smoke trail and seem to reduce drag for high speed cranking despite the weight, which gets your bomb to the fish before the guy next to you with the 5 ounce bomb. :D

Nice! Like that top green one, can you get those same jetheads in gold? That might be a sweet combo.

I agree. I saw Dave use the double hook rig on last year's Intrepid trip. It was really deadly.

    7/0 it is BHP

I put a split ring on the swivel so I can change hooks really easy.

The quality on the jet heads is trolling lure like.

I have some "Pasta" jets that I may bring. Danny gave me Fusilli and Linguine pasta dies that he made into trolling lures.

The smoke they emit is sick.

    With spicy meat sauce? Delizioso...

I prefer Marina with fresh Ricotta with my Fusilli.

With the Linguine - Alle Vongole.

Bill - BHP and myself have a friend who is a machinist and fisherman. He makes Pasta dies for all of the major Pasta manufacturers in the world.

They make great trolling lures - and possibly wahoo as well.
