I’ll be back out there next month. If anyone is looking for something in particular I’m happy to go look for it, buy it and bring it back for you.

This is a damiki Token jig style veratko. 90grams. If you find this one or one larger I'd be happy to have 4 or 5. Let me know about paying you and such.

If you’re into slow fall jigging and plans to visit Joshuya in Shibuya, they have the Deepliner Logical rod. I already got some Japanese casting rods from Tackleberry before I saw the Deepliner so I missed the chance. Besides, I want to get the hang of my Evergreen first.

Jason,

Exchange rate is below. Japan is really into surface jigs and poppers as you can see. Shimano, Daiwa, etc are really big over there. Only 2 type of things i look for in Japan is there filet knifes and there crazy tackle. Also of course there food is really great.

We were there in January what great place!!
Just remove the last 2 digits.
Pencil top water jig 4320 yen = $43 USD.
I saw a bunch of used gear for sale at outdoor shops near fish market.

Wow these shops let you take pictures ? I got off 1 shot and right when I took this picture , I heard a voice in the store saying "no pictures" in Japanese.

Yup, you can spend hours in these stores. Behind each rack in this photo there are 2 rows behind each row in this and most of all the tackle shops.

Great find!!
Yeah There were signs everywhere no pictures at the fishmarket as well. If you haven’t went it’s a must it’s awesome there’s other outside shops I have used gear near there. Even though says no pictures in the fishmarket many people were videotaping and taking lots of pictures I got a few

If yen was 100 to dollar then correct. At 110 to dollar and if tax free then it is slightly different.

I have a lot of pictures right after the fish market auction where tuna from all over the world were just purchased. i swear some were 400 lb's. I will dig up those pics that I took posting next to all the headless Blue and Yellowfin tunies...
