Left Davies at 7am, picked up some dines from Nacho and headed to Izors.
Sat out there for about an hour, metered some fish, but no takers on the dines or squid. Water temp was at 63 and the water was clear for June.
Bailed on Izors and shot over to the Eva rig. Caught a few undersize Calios and some feisty Cudas.
Picked up some balloons on my way out and back in.
Nice day on the water with 70* temps.
The windkicked up around 1030 and I called it a day.
Here's my hat trick of balloons, fish weren't worth taking pics of.

Nice looking seas and a decent day not working - right?

I'd rather see your photo-worthy fish versus a deflated Dodgers balloon...thanks for taking care of our sea, regardless!!!

What the hell is with the balloons? We picked up ten 6/2 from the west end to PV.

Mylar season is just beginning and it is shaping up to be full speed with the graduations. It typically starts off slow around May 6 or 7 (from Cinco de Mayo) then picks up until July 10.

    No bag or size limit.

There is a plastic island the size of Texas in the middle of the Pacific!

Looks like we both had a clean the ocean day. I fished the same areas but I was out a little longer than you and it sure did get windy and choppy. Awesome job on the mylars and glad you did catch a few fish too!!
