Got out with Phil Friday morning to try Izors again. Pretty good early, then zero!
Weather was overcast nearly all day with some breeze (5-7 mph), stayed cool most of the day. 10+ winds about 1:30. Water Temps 63.3 to 63.8, still cloudy water with about 10 ft visibility current and wind at odds with each other. Few birds, saw one decent size dolphin pod, lots of bait.
Put 30 mixed bag of Calicos, Sandies, sculpin, and one unknown. Maybe you can identify the picture. Rockfish? Bass decent size, up to nearly 5 pounds. All caught on plastics on the drift, mixed colors. Pretty fast action early, had 25 in the first 3 hours. Then it just stopped. Moved around and scratched out a few more, ended the day when the wind picked up. All released. Didn't see any surface action, no barracuda yet. Enjoy the weekend, tight lines!
