Left shelter island at 615 this morning with my uncle. We picked up a killer scoop of bait and headed slowly towards the islands in the fog. We started in the middle grounds and quickly picked up 4 yellows and a few jumbo bonito on slow trolled deans. We worked the area till about 9 losing 2 more yellows to the dogs and catching a bunch more bones. Worked or way south and then around the north island trolling rapalas for all you want bones but no more yellows. Finished the day north of the north island catching some quality rockfish. Water was 63 to 64 and deep blue all around the islands, just didn't see the volume of fish as the last couple weeks. Hope this helps if your heading out tomorrow!
