I will never set foot on a Suck Shaft boat again. He always seems to have the dregs of the sportfishing fleet.
well that was pretty unanimous!
Being compared to the Leg-end is an insult to the Islander. JMO.
Thanks again for all the replies clear to me now the price difference is 100% worth it
I heard that they changed captains this past winter anyone with any information on that
You should fish the Legend first to really appreciate the Islander.
Been one the Legend a dozen times and the Islander only once.
ISLANDER hands down.
Fished the Toronado and from what I am hearing it sounds like the legend is the Toronado of SD
Islander. No brainer. You will be treated like your on a 16 dayer.
I will never fish with Chuck Taft again, biggest a**hole....
Booked on the Islander thanks for all the feedback, can hardly wait to get out there.
Checked in on the Islander before leaving on another boat which turned out to be a long ride (BFT fishin). John, I believe is part owner, was in the wheel house. His second, Jason, was there as well. The crew has not changed either. Looks like they got their old cook back. All were very proud to show me around the boat and all the work they put into it. They did a great job in fixing minor things. That's how much pride they have in their operation. You made a great choice.
