Took the boat out for the first trip of the year this past Sunday. Started off slow but later in the day managed to find a good spot of fish and put 15 in the boat for the 5 of us. The pursuit saw us hanging and pulled up next to us which I had no issue with because they were cool enough to keep a distance and talked to us and worked together. Think they ended up with 30 or so. All caught on these tiny 3-5 inch squids we picked up from San Pedro bait. Fish were anywhere from 8-15 pounds. Perfect grade on the bass rods

Yeah sounds like you're the first private boater to get it handled. If only I was out there too.

Uh oh, my bad! I was paying attention to the bucket and didn't see the kill bag off the back. Distracted by all the purty yellowtail. I stand corrected.
