i don't seem to find any info on this generation 2 avet reel hx wide

perhaps its release date is on the horizon - when
    maybe 2019
or it is not in development - why

i would buy a used HXW Raptor or HXW 2speed (to complement my HX Raptor) - if the price is competitive with show specials, 10%, free spectra, tax - but the g2 could sway me to full retail...

holy moley 9 pages deep, last updated 2016 ... not sure how my search missed that mega thread

reads like the HX already has the G2 engineering - except the increased drag in nonRaptor version

The HXW Raptor is well worth the $85 over the standard HXW. For a reel that will last a lifetime, with proper maintenance, for the extra drag and less handle binding it is a no brainer for me. I have the 3-speed, I've caught some decent tuna on it without an issue and saw several cow Tuna landed on it.
