FKG & I hit the lake this morning nice and early, crisp air and beautiful sunrise, what difference a day makes.
Behad got a rental today, I loaned him my portable Humminbird fish finder so he didn't have to go blindly over the bait and fish.
Shawn showed up too with his boys on South Bend.
FKG was on fire today, all day.
The little dude has developed some great fishing form, very patient, methodical, and finesses the fish to the boat with ease.
I'm pretty proud of the little booger eater.
Behad made me up a 10ft 2-8lb rod that just kicks ass!
I just ordered up a couple more, due to a noticeable fishing advantage with the constant bend and pressure applied to the fish. Even when it jumps there is allways direct pressure on the hookset.
FKG had some fish today that tried like hell to get off, one fish jumped 8 times, I kid you not, this fish was flying out of the water.
Almost every fish made very powerful runs, not run, they made a few runs prior to being netted.
FKG's big fish for the day were a 4.9 lb & 4.4 lb with an eight fish stringer of 24.3lbs.

Great fishing with you guys out there again today.

FKG and I are already packed up and ready to go again in the morning, good times my friends, good times!!!!!

The new ac and heater are supposed to be all hooked up and running by tomorrow so maybe Wednesday if all goes well. Very nice stringer. Great job "G"...you too dad.

You should be proud of me for keeping my promise that I wouldn't say anything in my thread about all the fish that got farmed on your boat.

    Radio: "We're on.........and it's a nice one again"

    2-4 minutes later.........

Radio: "Ummmmmmmm we farmed another one, at least I know what they are biting, now we just have to get one to the net!"

Very nice - if you get the salt itch later this week with FKG - we are headed over Fri-Sun for a Bonito/Bug demolition.
