"Shifting with my left hand while sitting on the right and driving on the left side of the road…no problem!"

Driving on the left is the business!!
I had a ride from JFK to the Marriott and it scared me half to death - it seemed like everything was going to hit us head on - and I was in the back of a taxi!

    Great report, like your style.

The restaurant in Dingle had to be "Out of the Blue". Had dinner there in May and it was fantastic.

Everything is expensive over there because of the exchange rate for the dollar to the Euro. When I was there last year, it wasn't nearly as bad as it is now. If I would buy that Pollock today, with today's exchange rate, it would be close to $45 if not more.

But, I can say that you're not going to get any fish fresher than buying it at the fishmonger in a fishing village unless you personally know the crew of a fishing boat.

    Hey, Mike.

Nice to hear from you. Mostly all of the fishermen that I've met over there were really nice and cordial. Maybe the next time!

Things that get imported there are really expensive. I always bring some stuff for my cousins when I go. They LOVE swimbaits and golf balls. Golf balls there are close to 5 bucks a piece for crappy ones. I gave my cousin Padraig and old Penn spinner and you would have thought I gave him the queens tiara. Fishing equipment here is less than half of the cost there.
