same specs, same brand, same rear grip length, one has 9 rings + tip the other 10 rings + tip.
    1 1/2 to 4 1/2 oz

okuma inshore stalker.. for going after leopard grouper (cabrillas up to 12#), spotties, sierra mackerel and curvinas in Sea of cortez (gonzaga bay).
normally fishing with 2oz jigheads, megabit jigs 4oz and Krocs 3oz.

its there any difference in going with the 7.6ft than the 8ft rod?
its the tip more sensitive on the 8 footer or cast are easier and longer?

I used to have a 7.6ft muskie rod 2-6oz, it was really nice but on small fishes it felt like a stiff broom so, I need something just bit more flexible.
it has to be Okuma, cuz its gonna be exchanged under warranty with another okuma rod.

rod will be paired with a lexa 300hsp or calcutta 400te.

    thanks in advance.
