    Punta Mita Sept. 6th - 19th

Although the fishing offshore for tuna was less then stellar, we did what we could to make sure we had a bend in our rods. Sometimes you have to take what mother nature gives you and roll with it! The inshore bite was as good as it gets for variety... Roosters, snappers, mackerel and jacks made for some awesome light tackle fishing!
For those of you that have fished with Capt. Lora, you all know the effort that he puts forth to ensure his client leave with a smile... I'm still smiling buddy:)
Thank you and your family for making our vacation sooo enjoyable!

    Enjoy the photos!

Not sure Ive ever seen a blue eyed horse. Your reports and pics are great. So much so that I went to PV and fished with Lora earlier this year. He is all that and a fun guy to hang out with. Inshore was so much fun that I'm not sure if I will go back offshore at all on my next visit. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to get back in Jan!!

Stellar images and stellar fishing. Variety is what it's all about, not trophies. Love seeing the inshore reports from up there because the fishing is so good it makes me wonder why folks don't do more of it. I mean, I know Vallarta is famous for its cow YFT and that's the primary interest of most of the people on this forum, but once you've seen a few hundred photos of em you get a bit jaded. I've got to run 40-50 miles up or down coast from Huatulco to get that kind of variety of inshore fishing here so don't do it as much as I'd like. Still, the inshore 200' reefs here have been offering up some hefty surprises this year on occasion, so no complaints. Would love to be able to get good pargo on poppers locally, though.

. . . and there's a time for action, fun, and great documentation! (Especially if big fish aren't around). Sick shots, depth of field, use of light, artistry. Especially that Jack double and Cubera CU. I'm fishing with Lora twice in late Nov., I hope to post pics half as good. Saludos!
