We forget there was a time when 14ft aluminum boats were fishing Cortez and the back side of SCI.
People look at this as crazy because they’ve been spoiled with big center consoles and the idea you have to pay to get on a cattle boat to enjoy any of the local fishing.
Most of the guys that did the cool stuff back in the 80’s and 90’s are probably in a wheel chair or dead by now but the few that are left are not surprised by any of this. Go into a local tackle shop that’s been around more than 15 years and talk to the old guy in the back. You’ll be surprised at what you hear and learn.
