    Looking for rod/reel combo for 60-80lb line to handle tuna say from 80-150 with about a $600 budget

    Love the Torque 40nld2 for 60lb but fish it on a UC 80 Predator. 80lb would be a stretch for the rod though

    You could also go With the 40nld2 or a Mak sea 16 on a UC 76 Centaur for 60lb or 80lb. It would need to be a short top shot on the Torque if you went with 80lb

    You aren't going to come close to budget unless your reel is a Fathom 40NLD2.
