Does anyone actually have the excel file of th

Top link works great however the bottom link does not. Does anyone have the excel spreadsheet they can share so that I can fill it out and send in my request? When using the MX system it will give you an example in PDF, however if you don't have a PDF editor you are screwed.

    Thanks

Nope, didn't have that on the one that came up for me, tried it in fire fox and google chrome. They do look different in the two browsers, but didn't have those tabs.

ya know this post was started in 2014...I am not sure what the date is of Ali's post sayin 12 miles from the mainland....tho I believe that belief has changed to be 12 miles from land...even the coronado islands...

hopefully someone has better info that says it is actually 12nm from the mainland

    "it" being that visa

It is supposed to be 12 miles from the mainland but the Mexicans say 12 miles from the Islands.

I didn't try to open it in my browser, I downloaded it and then opened it. I got one e-mailed to me that worked fine. Thanks Jason

    Hello everyone,
I've been trying to get a TIP for my 18ft Gregor PAC18, but Gregor is not listed as one of the boat manufacturers (or "brands" as it appears on the website). I can't find an "other" selection and cannot type in my own- it thus won't allow me to finish the process. Has anyone encountered this issue/knows how to proceed?
    Thank you!

Is this for towing a boat down? Or should I do all this if I want to fish san Quintin or Ensenada?
    Cheers

Yes it happens.... you aren't looking for other like it reads, you are looking for otra. my spanish is weak but I think that is what it is.

Also it never mentions it in the things you need to get the TIP, but you will have to have your Visa to get it. Since the TIP could take up to ten days and the Visa only a few, I tried to get the TIP first... wouldn't do it. I got the TIP usps "priority mail" in three or four days, still haven't heard anything on the Visa.

The TIP is for any vehicle, boat, trailer etc. that your taking or using in Mexico. You will need a visa too. The Visa's are all different, traveling by land, flying, or on the water. Not sure what you will need since you are entering by land, if you are entering on the water you have to have one for water entry through the Mexican Navy

How do you have the TIP removed, when you have not docked in Mexico, but only fished the Coronado Islands??? Went to Ensenada with original TIP, but was informed that that was not adequate, but needed additional paperwork from the Coast Guard. Do you know what this document is?? Government worker at Banjorcito in Ensenada indicated that for $400 the person at the 'copy office' in front could help, what a 'scam'. Need help please, can't sell boat with 'my' TIP, as the buyer CANNOT get a TIP in his name, as there can only be 'one TIP' per boat.
