ICAST Show coming up; wish list for Product Development meetings?

When I am in the Product Development meetings with PENN, what would your "wish list" for me to bring up be?
Both rods and reels, but mostly reels.

How do you think west coast anglers would like "spool lock" in the place where a clicker would go?

West coast fishermen don’t fish structure enough to appreciate it.
A depth counter would go over better than a spool lock

But don’t pay attention to me. I’ve been giving Penn advice for over 5 years now with zero feedback. Caught probably the biggest sword ever recorded on an inflatable with a penn and got zero feedback but a commercial guy got a spotlight post…

Nowhere in his post did it even suggest the need for a spool lock but you put it out there. I guess we can expect spool lock on the new fathom SP special model?

Nothing is anywhere yet, that's why I brought it up.
He did mention instant engage, which I personally would not want, though I probably would want spool lock.
Its always good to hear what different anglers want.

For the smaller sizes sure why not. Inshore here gets snaggy even with the bottom hooks removed.

But if a 40N size ever came out I just hope the angler or his buddy doesn't set the "clicker" on and throw it in the rod holder.

Re profile drag cam on 12, 16, 20 VISX reels.

X2 for sure. A linear curve that corresponds with the numbering on the sideplate would bring these reels up to where they need to be. It’s a no brained to have the reel meet its full potential in drag adjustment w/o having to send it to Cal’s or Alan Tani to get it right.
